Humble little lamb

I love this little lamb. When I received it printed on matte paper ready to be framed I thought the colours were too bright and unsaturated, but now a few months later after having seen it every day in my baby daughter’s room I think it is colourful enough and luminous enough. :)

She calls it ‘metutu’, a word for ‘mieluțul’ which means the little lamb in Romanian.

I painted this only with digital oils in one go in a quiet evening in our living room. I intended to refine it the next day but in the end I liked it messy like that. :)
